Good Times

GREAT MONDAY!
developing on her chess skills?
 feeling good, heading home...
new "prize" toys in hand :)

All went swimmingly with treatment. Relatively uneventful (which means GREAT!). He got to pick a toy from the "prize bin" for handling everything SO well yesterday in light of last week's much more unpleasant episode. Trinity also got to pick a prize for being such a good little sister and being so well behaved while Mom tended to big brother. Amazing the smiles generated by mini frisbees + weird foam bouncy airplane things (yeah, I don't know).

Samuel received his dose of Actinomycin, so he's finishing up taking anti-nausea drugs tonight to prevent puking episodes. The Zofram (anti-nausea) is not at all yummy tasting like the antibiotic he takes every weekend, so we always make sure to have a chaser of something sweet to wash it down :) All-in-all, he has felt really good for the past couple days. A little on the tired side, which for toddlers of course manifests in general lethargy marked by random bursts of delirious excitability (ie, HILARIOUS). Right now as I type, Samuel + Trinity have engaged in a full-blown MMA event in the middle of the living room floor, complete with rear naked choke holds and ...OMG! A HANGER?!?! wait one, please!!!... yeah. Well, that was, umm, interesting. Now they're doing the "why are you hitting yourself? why are you hitting yourself?" game, thank you very much, DAD. They are definitely healthy energetic little people :)

yeeeah, little sister is really under there somewhere (see the hair? ha)
....8.....9.....10, pinned!

They are getting frighteningly good at the combatives moves Daddy has taught them. I say frightening because I actually woke up one morning to the "little princess" attempting to put me in an arm bar (ie., break my arm). Yeah, TRUE STORY. I can't make this stuff up. Dad is VERY proud ;)
