Happy Birthday!
...tales from our journey through valleys, atop peaks, and everywhere in between - all the while abiding in the shadow of the Most High. We are purposed to have great positive attitudes, speak life at all times, find joy in the blessing of every moment, and keep living our dreams each day. Hope you have fun with us!

Daddy's Birthday! And he's HOME for it :)
There are again NO WORDS to express how very very excited + blessed we are to have Daddy HOME with us to celebrate his birthday.... 32 years ago on September 10, God brought into this world a Man who would forever change my life and make possible the lives of two amazingly wonderful other little people. THANK YOU, LORD for this Man, our Daddy. We love him, respect him, + honor him always.... xo
A Monday kind of Tuesday
The only major "shake up" this week was going in to our clinic visit on Tuesday due to the Labor Day holiday. We will most happily take that kind of shake up! Beyond that, we had a great "incident-free" appointment, and even some fun - imagine that ;)
(a) We cannot believe how BIG they're getting! ...and (b) that they still like to all fit in ONE chair!
Trinity held Samuel's hand while Nurse Sarah accessed + drew blood
Happy to see our little friend Lily - and happier still that she had brought homemade cookies to share!
A Special Dinner
Since we were blessed to have Nonna with us - and VERY blessed by our amazing Uncle Michael + Aunt Zara to send us out for the evening - we decided to go to one of our favorite dinner spots, Cap City Diner. Yummms. It was also a very special weekend because we began the celebration of Daddy's BIRTHDAY! We are so grateful for such a precious time together...xo
Have we said "yay for Nonna!" yet? :)
Ice water w/ lemon, please. Too cute.

Yep, that's creamer. Yep, she's drinking it. Pick your battles, right ;)
We're excited about Nonna!

NONNA!!!!
We got the most wonderful surprise visit last weekend! Our very very special Nonna was flown in from California + got to spend some much needed snuggle time with us! "Joy" doesn't even come close to what we all felt.

Yay for Nonna! xo

A Trip for Trinity
This time we went to Children's for a little ultrasound on Trinity (she's 100% healthy, a little swollen lymph node). The kids were excited to have a brief adventure where Trinity got to have "pictures taken" with the "goopy stuff" instead of Samuel. Too funny. Since her appointment was not until 1:30 pm, she wasn't able to eat or drink basically all day (not funny). As a reward for being so good about it, they were treated to gum balls + milkshakes. We're sure if you asked them, they'd do it all over again just for that!
All smiles, brave warrior princess.
Pretty cool kid set up
Not a care in the world...
Big girl gets her pick of stickers!

One Last Dip
We had to take advantage of the hot summer sun one last time before autumn really sets in. We'll swim all winter, but the indoor pool just isn't ever quite the same :)
