Sometimes There's a Downside...

So, the GREAT news is that Samuel's immune system is completely restored, and we were able to go in to the regular pediatrician for a normal "well child" visit! Hallelujah!!!!! Of course, part of that "normal" thing is we needed to catch up on some very basic immunizations that Samuel hasn't been able to receive since he was about 4.....not so much fun. At all. Pretty sure the pics speak for themselves!
All smiles + fun....mainly bc Mom is such a great promoter that I had them EXCITED for shots....uhoh
Hanging out coloring while we wait - how insane is that HAIR?!?!
All love at this point....
 Cheeeeeze
 Smooches
Still kind of excited....gettin' a little nervous about what's happening....
Holding big brother's hand is not enough to contain the mounting nerves....what's that sharp pokey thing???
No chance of taking any pics since it required FOUR people to hold this one down....oi vay :\
But she got pretty colored bandaids which made her feel quite a bit better :)
Needless to say, screaming frantic sister did NOT settle Samuel's nerves
(and it's not like he has NEEDLE TRAUMA or anything......)
Scarily enough, this was the BEFORE picture....it required a good 5-10 minutes of "calming" time before the FIVE nurses would even be able to attempt his shots....we are now officially INFAMOUS at the doctor's office....and not really in a good way :(
 Still before.....ohboy
Aaaaaand, FINALLY, we're reasonably happy w/ cool bandaids.
We are definitely NOT doing this anymore!
