Follow Up "Checks"

Monday after our LAST CHEMO (yep, still excited about that!), we were back at Children's for another round of blood work, CT scans + ultrasounds. These tests will be repeated every 3 months for a time, and we'll gradually have more time lapse between follow ups, until they are virtually unnecessary.

It was nice to be able to do all the lab work + scans without accessing the port, though, and we're so grateful for that option.
We applied EMLA to the arm sites where his IV would be placed for drawing blood + injecting scan contrast - he chose this over the port, so we happily ran with it. The EMLA just takes the "sting" out of the needle injection.
 SMILES :)
 Ultrasound first, all relaxation here....
Trinity got to help the CT techs run Samuel's imaging tests!
Her mask is simply in support of her brother...they've done this often :)

It may be needless to say, but, we are overjoyed to report that as expected every single one of Samuel's tests came back 100% free + clear again (THANK GOD). No cancer. Completely healthy, growing little young man. Our deepest thanks again to all of you, too, for your continued prayers!
