All Good in August

We praise God the month of August went by with relatively few "bumps" or "hurdles". It has been wonderful having the whole family together almost every Monday for support + encouragement during clinic visits. Samuel is still not very happy about going to the Children's Place EVERY week, but he's such a trooper when we explain (again) that it is for his benefit so that he'll never have to come back and do this again. We pray on whatever level possible he is understanding that. Part of me is looking forward to conversations when he is older to see how much of all this he really did process. He is such a remarkable young man. We're confident he will be an even more incredible grown person having been through his adventure.

Daddy helping Nurse Eileen place cover bandage (over IV access area).
Playing with the "goopy toy" (colored gels in "hour glass" casing). And, yes, that's Daddy smiling at ESPN ;)
Trinity and HER chair + TV...and Mom's jacket :)
Ha, this day we scored the only exam room w/ a TV in it = all smiles, lol.
How these are the faces when watching cartoons, I will never know...only us.
Sharing a chair + toys before we get drugged up.
